This work demonstrates that printmaking, while retaining traditional values, possesses unforeseen possibilities for expansion through experimentation and transformation. The aim was to investigate the possibilities that collagraphy offers within the textural field, namely achieving a rich scale of tonal values and structures. The inspiration is drawn from our environment, specifically the material world. The goal of using contemporary, everyday materials for plate construction is to bring printmaking closer to the modern era, while retaining the plate in physical space and maintaining manual printing. The intention of this work was also to reduce printmaking toxicity to a minimum, as well as to simplify the plate-making process itself to realize the conceived idea in the shortest time possible.
